For her, it is a conscious decision not to work with a production-oriented mindset, but rather to explore and play within her own imaginative biotope. Leen intuitively composes her abstract collages using fragments from magazines, snippets of text, and textures. Some of these stem from the work of fellow artist Eva Corluy. The dialogue with Eva’s colorful works and writings nourishes and invigorates Leen’s work. Her dynamic collages serve as a starting point for the exploration of spatial work.
